Podcast #25 … Day 1 in a week of 5 shows

We’re enjoying a huge increase in visitors lately, and we wanted to reward that… so we have a week of podcasts, from Monday to Friday!

They’ll be almost entirely music, with less of the chatter, especially for those of you who are sick of Si’s voice… most of the content throughout the week will follow a common theme of the Grateful Dead. All songs from Bruce’s shows, so they might be covers, or songs he played with the Dead, or songs where Jerry Garcia guested on the record… or just Bruce for the sake of it. We’re hearing a lot from the Deadhead community, especially those who listened to the SiriusXM interview, who may not be familiar with Bruce’s body of work, so we’ll be including a taster throughout the week.

Several of you have asked about the Dead also – so enjoy this sample of some of their finest, today and during the week.

We’ll aim to have a show up early each day, so make sure you subscribe via iTunes to automatically download. You can find it by searching for Bruuuce.com, or Talk of the Town, or Bruce Hornsby in the iTunes podcasts. Or check back at this site each day!

Today’s music comes from:

  • Loser, Tennessee Jed – Oakland, CA .. November 6 1998
  • Truckin >  Turn on Your Lovelight > Not Fade Away, The Weight, Pastures of Plenty .. The Fillmore, San Francisco, CA .. April 12 1996

Come back for more tomorrow!
