Funhouse Fest is upon us!

Bruce is curating this festival in Williamsburg, beginning June 23, and headlining each night with a solo night and outings with the Noisemakers and Ricky Skaggs.

We are already collecting videos, photos, reports, news and organising meetups on our Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/bruuuce – please share anything you have there!

One important note for anyone attending: bring cash, not cards! They may not be accepted for refreshments, merchandise etc. The nearest ATM is a 6 minute walk from the Funhouse Fest site at SunTrust Bank, Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square, 202 N Henry St, Williamsburg, VA 2318.

Also, from Bruce’s sound engineer Wayne Pooley:

“This Friday night after Greensky Bluegrass and Skaggs-Hornsby,  keep your music blood flowing and walk to The Triangle Restaurant and Tapas Bar for a late night jam. Wayne Pooley (Bruce’s Dagle) and Jessica Salomonsky-Pooley will be taking the stage and making some ‘Noise’ from 10:45 PM until close this Friday the 24th. 5 minute walk from the Festival grounds. Expect some surprises! Triangle Restaurant – 601 Prince George St, Williamsburg, VA 23185″

Guests include:

  • Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder
  • Shawn Colvin and Steve Earle
  • Railroad Earth
  • Jack DeJohnette
  • ChessBoxer featuring Ross Holmes
  • Aoife O’Donovan
  • The Taj Mahal Trio
  • Greensky Bluegrass

Of course, Bruce and the Noisemakers will play across the festival, and are scheduled to play special sets featuring the entire track listing from both “The Way It Is” and “Rehab Reunion“.

Most importantly, to all those going – have fun!
