Hey Jeff,
We are all trying to keep busy during this down time. Doug is staying busy with Sesame Street, Sonny is putting the finishing touches on his cd, Bobby and JT have recording studios that keep them busy. And, I am playing a lot with different groups.
We all miss The Noismakers and hope our little break is over soon.

Hey JV. My parents are trying to pin me down on a date for the family reunion. I told them I won't know until I find out when Bruce & the Noisemakers are playing @ the Biltmore. You probably don't know either--but PLEASE tell me you will be playing there sometime this summer. Summer isn't summer without my annual trek to Asheville for the Biltmo show.

What’s up JV,
About time you guys are coming back to Minneapolis. It has been 2 long years since the last Noisemakers show in Minnesota-do you remember that show at the Minnesota Zoo? It was the best performance I have ever seen.
But I got a question for you (no it is not asking you to sing “Chaka Khan" again). My question is: Have you or could you play the song “Stacked Mary Possum” from the Camp Meeting CD? I know Christian McBride normally plays it, but thought you might be up for the challenge. I know (well I don’t really know as I never picked up an instrument in my life) that the bass that you use is different than the upright bass, but could you produce a similar sound? Even if it isn’t a similar sound, it doesn’t matter-I love that fresh spontaneity music. So when you see the request for “Stacked Mary Possum” you will know it is from me. See you November 1st!
