Hey, J.V.! I met you after your soundcheck with Bruce and the boys at the Biltmore in August 2004. You were so nice to stop and sign my tour book even though you guys had limited time for dinner before the show. My wife and I also saw you at the Uptown in Kansas City that same month. My wife commented over and over about your infectious smile while you were playing. She said it was obvious you were doing exactly what you love to do, and I agree with her. You make it look effortless, but I know you have worked for decades to play like you do. You are simply awesome!

Response from JV:

JV, The website looks amazing! Thanks again for being such a great guy. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you soon. Thanks again.

Response from JV:
Thanks for the good words Ron. You are an artist.. To those musicians reading the guestbook. Ron makes great guitars and basses. I am playing one this year. I know it's a shameless plug. But I really love this bass. Say hello to the family. Peace :-) |

JV--Just a quick note to wish you well and to say that the website looks great. I've taken a lot of people to see BH shows over the years and invariably they say that the heart and soul of the band is "the bass player." You are a pleasure to hear and an even greater pleasure to see live. See you at some point late this summer. All the best.

Response from JV:
Thanks Tim, I just love playing with this band. :-) |

JV....love watching you play with Bruce. The whole band is fantastic and can't wait to see you later this summer in Gilford, NH. Question: where did the nickname from Bruce come from...Zorro I believe?
6 July 2005 - Claremont, NH
Response from JV:
HEY CHARLIE, If you have followed the band over the last eight years, you would hear Bruce use a long variety of names for me. Zorro is the latest in that line. He loves to have fun and just started calling me Zorro last summer and singing the theme from the television show of the 50's. This makes the shows fun for the band as well.. We all have names given by Bruce. :-) |

Hi JV I've not seen you live but only on Bruce's dvd,you know the Friends gig and I've got to say you are brilliant and it is obvious you enjoy every minute as you are smiling all the time. When I first saw you I thought you were an ATHLETE not a musician.I think there is a compliment in there somewhere. Best regards Munna Munshi A fan from day one.

Response from JV:
Thank you Munna, I've played sports all my life, basketball, baseball, american football, golf etc. The two things that I do everyday is pratice bass, and work out. Thanks for enjoying what I do. :-) |
