REVIEW: Bruce was phenomenal as usual. He really seemed to like the Palace and even made mention that they might have to think about making Louisville a regular stop on their tour. The show was very heavy with songs from Spirit Trail, which is OK, although I would have liked to have heard a few more older songs. No songs from The Way it Is or a Night on the Town were played. Nonetheless, a very good Bruce show. He had the crowd in his hand as usual. A few highlights: He made several references to new University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino, especially during King of the Hill. That drew a nice response from the crowd. Also, all the deadheads(and there were many of them) came up on stage and danced during Women are Smarter.
