I was jamming some solo Bruce today…4/1/99 to be exact…and I was thinking how great it is that we have a musician like him to enjoy. He really acknowledges the crowd and always shares his great stories. Most musicians don’t really talk to or with the crowd let alone share cool stories.
I’m glad I discovered Bruce and his music when I did…although I totally wish I was older in the 80’s so that I could’ve attended a Range show.
There isn’t a day that goes by where I’m not jamming at least one or two Bruce tunes.

I agree, you can tell how Bruce really does a lot for the fans. I was born in the wrong decade. I wish I was @ at a range show also. But I loved the Circa 2006 Noisemakers also!

    Bruce is the man!
So thankful for his music and all the times I got to see him play…hopefully I get a chance to see him again soon.
I’m pretty stoked that he’s busting out much more of his catalog now that the (new) guys have a good grasp of his tunes and his form of improv. I remember being a little bummed when I seen a few shows during the first tour or two with the (new)guys as the set lists were too similar and the tunes not played as improvisational as they usually are…but thankfully they found their stride and we get much more of the catalog to enjoy live.
I’m still hoping that Bruce will dust off my favs like The Old Playground and Passing Through.
