It is no exaggeration to say that David did as much for the Bruuuce.com community as anybody. He was a frequent poster to our message board (actually, the most frequent, by quite some margin!) and arranged several get-togethers, including at the Biltmore this summer.
I’ve been asked to record a podcast remembering David, which is a great idea, although not perfect in its execution. You can listen to it or download it above, or find the Bruuuce.com podcast on iTunes – about twenty minutes remembering our friend. It’s a short notice deal, so I apologise for it being a little scattered in places. It closes with David’s favourite song, Tango King, from Madison, WI on May 12 1996.
I mentioned that the next tribute record will be in David’s memory. We’re releasing it this August, and there’s still time to record and contribute a track. If you’d like to be involved, please contact Si.
David Day made it easy to look after our great community. He did most of it for us. We’ll miss him a lot.
