Since 2005, a substantial amount of money has been raised by all of you towards the building of the Merlin Centre. It amazed all involved that people from across the United States, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Czech Republic, the UK and beyond all came together to help a charity in a village in Cornwall. Even when I asked for suggestions of projects more local to you guys in the States, the response was always the same: “We want to see this place built!”

And so it was. It opened in April 2009. The phenomenal results of our first event were exceeded in the following years. Voluntary donations have seen the Merlin Project, ALS and cancer research benefit by over $15,000.

The Merlin Project have always been fantastic is feeding back their thanks, and I’m happy to do so again for our most recent venture. This is from the charity’s chairman, Dr Derek Murphy, to you all:

Thank you from the Merlin Project
