What did a Bruce Hornsby fan look like twenty years ago?

2002 saw the release of Big Swing Face. Salt Lake City hosted the Winter Olympics, Friends and CSI topped the TV charts, Eminem had the top-selling album and Spider-Man beat out Star Wars Episode II as the highest-grossing movie of the year.

Also in 2002, we polled the entire Bruuuce.com community for a snapshot in time, to look for what the “typical Bruce Hornsby fan” looked like at the time. Hobbies, occupation, song requests – let’s take a look at the community, twenty years ago. Stay tuned for an updated survey bringing us up to date – coming very soon!

Where were you in 2002?

On the east coast of the USA, mainly. Lots in California also, maybe spilling over from the Dead.
